More King's Singers favourites are featured from across the repertoire in this follow-up to the King's Singers CHORAL LIBRARY VOLUME 1. Pierre Passereau's wonderful "Il est bel et bon" tells of two gossiping wives who compare the qualities of their husbands, whilst the chickens cluck in the background. By contrast there is Peter Knight's tour de force arrangement of the spiritual song "Swing low, sweet chariot". Also featured are Bob Chilcott's lovely version of the old Spanish traditional song "Con amores la mi madre" and Goff Richards's much-loved arrangement of Franz Schubert's setting of William Shakespeare's "Who is Sylvia?".
